To provide event HVAC rental at the Excel centre for a staff break-out area.
ACR were approached by SMP Building Services Consulting Engineers to supply an event HVAC rental system for this project.
Completely new, the rest area for the Olympic Fleet staff was to be constructed from scratch in the Excel’s underground car park. The new space required a HVAC system maintain comfortable conditions for staff whilst taking their breaks . Air distribution was also to be included in the package.
Air-sock was fitted for cost effective final distribution in the room.
An ACS 160.120 climate control air handling system was fitted along with a 150kw water chiller. The air handler was deliberately oversized to provide the required volume of air at lower velocities- reducing noise.

Installed over a period of 2 days, this event HVAC rental package was in operation for 3 months.

ACR were contracted by Nussli Switzerland to supply a complete HVAC overlay system for temporary basketball courts. This major Olympic project was due to be located on the Lee Valley behind the Ice Centre.
Event air-conditioning hire in London for an Olympic project that was specified and delivered at short notice for the games.
This HVAC project came about as a result of the test events held prior to the Olympics. Worryingly, it was found that insufficient space was available for the opening ceremony performers to make up in.
Advanced Climate Rentals were approached at short notice by the client with a significant problem. The plane was due to be used for an event, this included decking out the fuselage with live foliage to give a woodland theme.
